Assignment #1: Photo/Space DVD
Create a DVD to explore space/3-d objects. We will program the DVD in class. You will prepare materials before class. You must take a minimum of 4 photos of a space (a shot north, south, east, and west) and connect these with buttons. Somewhere

Assignment #2 : Art Statement

Especially in the arts, we must be able to talk about what we do. It is in the process of talking (or writing) that will give meaning to ourselves and others.

Submit to: dvplace@gmail.com a brief statement of what you hope your work will achieve as art...why are you an artist. This is a more general statement than your Final Artist Statement.
Assignment #3: Portfolio DVD

This DVD should highlight your artwork or your career to this point. You should get a job or a show with this DVD.

Final ART DVD

Produce a DVD with at least:
- 2 videos (less than 2 minutes each)
- motivated multiple menus
- a slide show
- customized interface

AND include a written, final artist statement on paper included with your DVD. This statement will tell us the goal of your final and what you hope people will take from interacting with your final. Put your blog address on the artist statement.

Hand in a DVD with:
- your name
-"552 Final" written on the DVD
-"Summer 2007 " written on the DVD
- THE DVD MUST BE IN A SLEEVE
- Final Artist Statement on paper

The DVDs will not be returned.
